Happy birthday, Mootsie!

Today is my Mootsie’s 7th birthday! I’m crazy about Hayden, not only is she beautiful, she’s warm, kind, loving, & sweet. Hayden is that kid that every parent prays they’ll have. She is so much like her mother, which is so awesome! Today, I got to take Hayden her favorite lunch: a chic-fil-a sandwich with no pickles & a lemonade. We did the usual thing and got cup cakes and took those to school today to share them as well, Hayden loves to share with others. As a matter of fact Hayden’s love language is gifts. She loves to both give and receive presents. So today’s been great. At one point, she was helping her mom hand out cupcakes and a little boy looked up at her and said, “I threw up yesterday.” Hayden looked at him and replied “I know, I’m sorry.” It was randomness at it’s finest, but Hayden was sweet & kind, like always.
I’m so proud of Hayden, she is such a joy and the last seven years have been the best years of my life because of this gentle, loving & beautiful little girl. Thankful wouldn’t be a fair word to describe how I feel about having my sweet Hayden. She takes my breath away every day & today she’s taken my words.
I love you, my sweet Mootsie! You are everything a daddy could have asked for and even more. I’m praying for you; for your today, for your tomorrow and your forever. It’s an honor to be your Daddy.
